You don’t have to join one of our full service Israel tours to enjoy the benefit of our experience. We offer day and half-day Israel tours for independent vacationers planning travel to Israel. Many of the tours depart on a daily basis, others 2-3 times per week, making them convenient to fit with your travel schedule. It doesn’t matter if you’re visiting relatives, are in the country for business or are spending your time mostly exploring on your own, you can still enjoy our Israel tour experience on one of these day trips or mini tours.
JERUSALEM (Tour 1)
Daily
Drive to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of Golden Jerusalem. Stop at Mount Zion to visit King David’s tomb, the Room of Last Supper and Dormition Abbey. Enter the Old City and walk through the Armenian and Jewish Quarters to the recently excavated and restored Cardo, the Roman Road. See the Western Wall (the Kotel) and continue to the Christian Quarter. Walk along the Via Dolorosa and visit the Church of Holy Sepulcher. Proceed to the new city and visit Yad Vashem*, the Memorial to the Holocaust.

On Saturdays and Jewish holidays, instead of Yad Vashem, drive to Ein Karem,southwest of Jerusaelm, traditionally known as birthplace of John the Baptist. Stroll the narrow lanes of the picturesque neighborhoods; stop by Mary’s spring and continue to visit the Church of Saint John the Baptist. Modest dress (no shorts or sleeveless shirts) and head coverings are required to visit holy sites. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. *Entrance to the Holocaust museum is not permitted for children under the age of 10.
MASADA AND THE DEAD SEA (Tour 2)
Daily
Depart via the Judean Hills to the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth. Drive past the Qumeran caves where the Dead Sea scrolls were found. Continue along the shores of the Dead Sea to Masada. There we learn about the heroic story of the Jewish fighters. Ascend by cable car and tour the mountain fortress built by King Herod, where the zealots of the first century made their last stand against the Romans. Read More View the remains of the walls, palaces, synagogue, water cisterns, mosaic floors, Roman baths and other findings. Descend by cable car. Continue to the Dead Sea. Enjoy the opportunity to float in the Dead Sea and cover yourself with mineral rich, therapeutic Dead Sea mud. Comfortable shoes, hat, sunscreen, bathing suit and towel are recommended. BIBLICAL HIGHLIGHTS OF THE GALILEE (Tour 3)

Depart via the coastal road and view the landscape of the Lower Galilee on our way to Nazareth, the town where Jesus spent his childhood. Visit the Church of Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph. Continue, via Kana, to Tiberias, the lovely resort town. Drive along the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum and view the ruins of the ancient synagogue where Jesus taught. Continue to Tabgha, the site of the Miracle of Fish and Loaves located at the foot of the Golan heights. Read More Proceed to Yardenit, the famous baptismal site where the Jordan River leaves the Sea of Galilee towards the Dead Sea. PEARLS OF THE WESTERN GALILEE (Tour 4)

Drive along the coastal road to Caesarea, the ancient Roman capital and port. Enjoy a walking tour of the theatre and the archaeological ruins and excavations. Continue to Haifa for a scenic view of the city, the port and the amazing Bahai Gardens. Read More Proceed via Nahariya to Rosh Hanikra to visit the limestone grottos.
