I am speaking for myself and Ellie when I say that we throughly enjoyed the trip to Cuba. The Jewish experience, the teaching by Professor Berk and the mixing with the Cuban culture and communities was what we were expecting and it is what we received.

The tour was excellent! I’m so glad I went. The highlight for me was Havdalah at the Ashkenazi Synagogue in Havana. We really connected with the people, who were vibrant. It was an honor to met David in Santa Clara. He is doing so much with so little. It is a warm and inviting but very small community. Overall it was a great experience and sharing it with many people who went from acquaintances to friends. Thanks for everything,
