The "Taste Israel" Tour is designed to tantalize your palette & enrich your understanding of the history, culture & traditions of Israel and its people.

The tour begins in the Holy City of Jerusalem, where ancient meets modern and east meets west. After three days of exploring the city, hiking its hills and tasting foods specially prepared for us, we will travel south to an area steeped in history, the Ella Valley, where David met Goliath. We will visit with Gadi Sternbach, the owner of a unique boutique winery. Our journey will continue through the dramatic vistas of the Judaean Desert to the lowest spot on earth - the Dead Sea. Here we will take time to luxuriate in the Dead Sea's relaxing therapeutic mineral waters. While in the area we will tour the ancient mountain fortress of Masada and meet with local artists in Arad.

From the lowest spot on earth we will venture north to one of the most impressive archaeological excavations in the Middle East, Beit Shean, where we will explore the remains of the City of Scythopolis, which thrived during the days of ancient Rome. Our tour will take us to a region known for its rich fertile valleys and majestic mountains. We will enjoy the hospitality of the area as we learn about the unique foods and quality wines of the region. Here we will tour the vineyards, meet with local chefs and feast on festive dinners.
